The Minister of Science met the Argentine ambassador to the United Kingdom

Dr. Lino Barañao, responsible for the scientific portfolio, received Carlos Sersale di Cerisano, the newly appointed ambassador to the United Kingdom, at the Scientific and Technological Pole this afternoon.

During the hearing, the authorities established the priorities for the science and technology cooperation agenda between both countries. “We want to aim at common and mutual benefit challenges”, emphasized the Minister of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation.  

The commitment and relationship with leading institutions from the United Kingdom, such as Oxford University, were strengthened. Likewise, they talked about the potential of new joint projects to meet global and current needs such as pandemics, the monitoring of climate change, the use of renewable energies or the importance of the protection of biodiversity.
