Diplomas were awarded by the IV Managers School of Science, Technology and Innovation

Secretary of Planning and Policy , Dr. Ruth Ladenheim , led the closing ceremony of this activity.

This morning, Secretary of Planning and Policy, Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation Productive Nation, Dr Ruth Ladenheim, presided over the closing ceremony of the IV School Managers Science, Technology and Innovation, organized by the ministry of Science, Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean ( ECLAC) and the German Technical Cooperation (GIZ ) .

"The initiative for this school has to do with generating networks, links between you and us. The goal is to keep in time and try these ties are the embryo of a future International cooperation.

In this context, Dr. Ladenheim thanked the teachers and students who participated in the activity and said: "The initiative for this school has to do with generating networks, links between you and us. The goal is to keep in time and try these ties are the embryo of a future International cooperation. We want this experience to bear fruit, and that in the not too distant future be transformed into practical cooperation." Also, the official said that "there remains the challenge of transforming this growth achieved in the region in economic and social development. That step, that step is difficult to transit and the message coming from you is very positive and hopeful, that as a region we can achieve development based on knowledge".

Oriented officials from ministries, agencies and councils Latin American science and technology, the school aimed at strengthening the scientific, technological and productive countries in the region through transfer of knowledge and experience of policy makers in science and technology. Therefore, training conferences on topics such as financing tools, policies boost to technology companies and business incubators were given by experts in the portfolio of Science and other institutions, and covered topics such as sustainable innovation policies, policies industrial, business incubation and biotechnology and bioeconomy projects.

To date there have been four editions: the first took place in Santiago de Chile in 2010, with 21 participants from 9 countries and the second was last held in the German city of Bonn and was attended by 17 students from 13 countries, and the third was held in Montevideo and brought together 28 participants from 16 countries. This time, Buenos Aires hosted the larger issue, which brought together 30 students from 17 countries.
