As part of new actions related to Program RAICES, the national director for Cooperation and Institutional Integration (DNCII, for its acronym in Spanish), Mariano Jordan, met with three of the Networks of Argentine Scientists Abroad in Italy, France and Germany and, together, they worked on the development of future Program actions.

On June 28, he visited the Argentine Embassy in Rome, where he offered a lecture on the good progress of the Program to the members of the Network of Argentine Scientists in Italy (RCAI). The meeting was pleasant and it served as an opportunity to clarify doubts and to promote scientific cooperation lines conducted by the Ministry of Science amongst the researchers residing there.

On the 29th day same month, in the city of Paris, Jordan was received by the Network of Argentine Scientists Abroad in France. There, he met the requests of researchers, who carefully listened to his lecture and proposed new functionalities that may drive to improvements regarding the progress of the Network.

Finally, on Friday 30, the national director for Cooperation visited Berlin and met with the Network of Argentine Scientists Abroad in Germany. Jordan highlighted the work of the argentine scientific community on the Germanic country and, at the same time, he pointed out the importance of teamwork for RAICES Program purposes.

The work agenda, prepared together with the DNCII, the members of the Networks and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cult through Argentine Embassies located at said countries, fulfilled the goal to strengthen existing Program tools and to introduce new actions such as RAICES subsidy +Productive and the Information Platform to Link Argentine Scientists. The Networks of Scientists Abroad found great joy in such announcements and pointed out this initiative as a big step towards the articulation of the technological and scientific capabilities of the country.

These meetings are part of the consolidation of RAICES Program and are thus oriented to strengthening the links between argentine scientists and technologists abroad with the national scientific system, as a complement to the actions aiming at promoting the stay of researchers within the country and the return of those interested in developing their activities in Argentina.
