PFIP – Federal Projects for Productive Innovation

PFIP is an instrument from the Federal Council for Science and Technology (COFECyT) and its purpose is to solve specific social and productive problems based on the creation and transfer of knowledge, at municipal, provincial, or regional level, identified as priority problems by Provincial Authorities related to Science and Technology.

The resources managed through this line are non-refundable contributions. Such subsidies may not exceed in any case 70% (seventy percent) of the total project cost. The other costs should be borne by the beneficiaries and/or third parties.

PFIP beneficiaries may be: public agencies either centralized or not, state-owned companies, universities, non-governmental organizations, and, in general, any individual or legal entity with legal personality at the time of submitting the project and they should be based within the Argentine territory.
