Credits for Companies (CAE)

CAE is a tool of the Argentinean Technology Fund (FONTAR) which, together with the banks which adhere to the program, provides funding for Technological Modernization projects.

The objective is to improve competitiveness of goods-producing companies through Technological Modernization of products or processes.

Between ARS 1,000,000 and ARS 4,000,000 are granted per project and up to 80% of the required investments are covered within the context of the approved project, and the Company contributes with the remaining part. The projects to be financed are as follows:

  • Modification or improvement of technologies of products or processes, as compared to the ones being currently used by the companies.
  • Introduction of technologies of production management which maximize competitiveness.
  • Technological developments necessary to advance from pilot stage to industrial stage.
  • Acquisition of technology incorporated in new equipment for production and the engineering effort associated therewith.
  • Incorporation of information and communication technologies to the process.
  • Implementation of quality systems.

CAE are aimed at companies producing goods and/or services legally established in the country with a billing for the last fiscal year of up to ARS 250 million.
