2014 STIC- AMSUD Programme

It is the 9th call for projects for funding mobility of researchers within the frame of joint research projects that gathers at least one French research team and two research teams from Latin American countries (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela).

About the call

The STIC- AmSud Regional Programme is a joint initiative between French organisations and their counterparts in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela aimed to promote and reinforce collaboration and the creation of research and development networks in the field of the sciences and information and communication technologies (STIC) by running joint projects.

The Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation is part of the Managing Committee and the Scientific Committee on which the program is based.

It seeks the submission of joint research and development projects including research missions among participating groups, workshops and/or intensive schools (short courses) to enable the participation of teachers and students.


How to apply

The call is open to all topics related to ICT. Proposals whose scientific themes are nuanced of other scientific areas such as engineering sciences can be included since an significant innovative work in ICT is also necessary.

Any public or private research unit or laboratory, attached to a higher education institution, research body or company, is able to apply.

Each project must combine at least one French research group and at least two research groups belonging to two of the South American countries involved in the 2014 STIC- AMSUD Programme.
