5th Awards Ceremony for International Cooperation in Science and Technology “Luis Federico Leloir” and “RAICES”

The Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation, through its National Directorate of International Relations will give awards to outstanding Argentinean scientists living abroad at the Auditorium of OSDE Foundation. The Award for International Cooperation in Science, Technology and Innovation, “RAICES”, recognizes Argentinean scientists who live abroad and have made a contribution for strengthening networking and scientific and technological capabilities of our country.

Also, the Award for International Cooperation in Science, Technology and Innovation, “Dr. Luis Federico Leloir” recognizes foreign persons who have made a significant contribution to increasing international cooperation in science, technology, and innovation with our country.  

Such award ceremony will be on November 17, at 6:00 p.m. at the Auditorium of OSDE Foundation. Carlos Pellegrini Building, Leandro Alem 1067, 2nd Basement. Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.

Awardees are selected by means of a survey made by the National Directorate of International Relations from the Ministry of Science to persons within the scientific community in our country, and they are finally selected by the National Minister of Science, Technology, and Productive Innovation, Mr. Lino Barañao, who every year gives diplomas and medals to the awardees together with the National Director of International Relations, Ms Águeda Menvielle.

The official opening will consist of scientific exhibitions in charge of the awardees at the ground floor room of the Science and Technology Cluster, located at Godoy Cruz 2390, Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, awardees
