PROG.R.ES.AR is a universal provision aimed to 18 to 24 year old youngsters who want to start or complete their studies at any level of education or be trained in technical occupations.

PROG.R.ES.AR is a universal provision aimed to 18 to 24 year old youngsters who want to start or complete their studies at any level of education or be trained in technical occupations.

It is an initiative of the Presidency of the Nation, several ministries participated in this programme such as the Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Social Development, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Security, the Ministry of Interior and Transportation and the National Social Security Administration (ANSES).  

PROG.R.ES.AR provides a benefit of $600 per month, whether to initiate or complete studies. The programme also provides assistance for vocational training, job orientation and intermediation services through the Ministry of Labour, and care of dependent children, when necessary, through the Ministry of Social Development. The Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation, through the Sadosky Foundation offers the Estudiar Computación website where youngsters can access an interactive map with ICT careers (Information and Communication technologies) and universities offering such careers.

The program is aimed at 18 to 24 year old Argentine youngsters, native or naturalized, who neither work or have a formal or informal job and are not paid the minimum vital and adjustable wage ($ 3,600) and their families are under the same conditions.
