CACBVaF - Argentine-Cuban Center of Biotechnology Applied to the Development of Vaccins and Drugs
This bi-national coordination center seeks the transfer of scientific and technological knowledge and jointly develops specific projects of scientific and technological research between Argentina and Cuba.

The Argentine-Cuban Center of Biotechnology Applied to the Development of Vaccines and Drugs (CACBVaF) was created on January 19, 2009 by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation of Argentina, the Finlay Institute (IF) and the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICCG) of Cuba.

The center aims to promote the education and training of human resources in both countries in the area of biotechnology applied to the development of vaccines and drugs, the exchange and training of experts, scientists and technicians, in the framework of joint cooperation projects, the organization of conferences, seminars, training courses, specialization, professional development and training; the use of equipment and facilities for joint development of specific projects, under the terms and conditions to be agreed in each case, and the exchange of scientific and technological information and policies and management in this area.
