CABBIO - Argentinean-Brazilian Center of Biotechnology

CABBIO - Centro Argentino-Brasileño de Biotecnología
Binational coordination entity comprising a network of research groups in biotechnology. It promotes the implementation of joint R&D projects and training of high-level human resources.

The Argentinean-Brazilian Center of Biotechnology (CABBIO) is a product of the cooperation of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation of Argentina and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation of Brazil. 

CABBIO's aim is to promote interaction between scientific centers and the productive sector. For this purpose, it performs two types of activities: implementation of binational R&D projects, and training of human resources at graduate level through courses of the Argentinean-Brazilian School of Biotechnology (EABBIO).
